Significant construction is occurring at Gosford Sailing Club:

Three separate but related construction projects are occurring at Gosford Sailing Club that have impact upon Sailability Gosford operations. These projects are:

• A new lighted footpath that crosses near where Sailability Gosford stores its boats and equipment.
• An expansion of the current dock that extends further out over the water.
• The floating dock and boat ramps are being configured.

The Sailing Club and construction crews have done a good job in minimizing the space taken for construction and the inconvenience caused. There is, however, some challenges presented by this ongoing work:

• Parking space is reduced due to worker vehicles and temporary storage.
• Boats are parked wherever there are empty spaces
• Maneuvering with wheelchairs, frames and other mobility devices may be affected.

Please keep these issues in mind when attending a Sailability Gosford sailing day. We will attempt to be efficient while operating with these challenges but we may take longer to set up and get sailors into the boats.
